Why do today what you can put off till tomorrow.

I just went and turned off my bath water because I thought " I should blog for a bit, its been like a week". But I dont have the motivation now and there are too many ideas I need to organize first.

Maybe tomorrow.

Here is a picture from Mckenna's birthday celebration though. We went to a gourmet cupcake place. They really did taste way better than regular cupcakes.

The D Word.

So the D word has proved to be a much easier obstacle to tackle then I had originally imagined.
I thought I would be so chained to my love of cheese and chocolate and things that go in the microwave that I'd have to run 3 miles just to prevent GAINING weight.
But something has changed within me (something is not the same)

It has become clear to me that in order to get the results I want- I actually have to eat different, not just "plan on it" or "try". This is something my wonderful Andrew has been screaming at me for months (because that is how long I have been trying to get going on this). But there is always that chasm between knowing in your head and actually realizing first hand.
But after eating different for 2 days and actually seeing a slight change in the numbers on the scale, I realized it must be done. Whether it was water weight- or the fact I was wearing different clothes or if it was actually due to my food choices- it was the kick in the butt I needed.

So despite the Moes I had today (yum)- which I realize I will have to work extra hard at getting rid of- The D word is no longer my enemy

Here is a picture of my new set up so maybe I can get rid of my fat arms.

Real fancy ay?

Anyway, today was my day off and I used it like I normally due- doing nothing much with my handsome man. I did however receive a T.J.Max gift card from my wonderful employer last week; "just because" (she is awesome), and in order to heighten motivation I used it to purchase a sports bra ( and some other cool things) and THEN American Eagle had jumbo sale on athletics so I bought a pair of gym shorts and another sports bra. I tell myself it's to better my future.

Tonight Inception opens, which we are all pretty excited for. I'm going to try and get a free refill of popcorn with the tub Jon bought last time. I don't feel like its stealing or any remorse at all, whatsoever, because it costs them like $1 to make and they charge me $13. I should get 13 refills.

How about some Optimism.

Be thankful for everything you already have. When you get more, you'll feel very blessed, because you already had all you needed.

Lies and Foolishness

How does someone with a status of "Upstanding employee" not get re-hired?
You can not trick me.
I know that "We're going to back to the office to look over applications and find the best fits" means you're not going to hire me.
I've seen the people you've hired on the spot sent out and filling out paperwork online.
I'M NOT BLIND

You're loss.

Oh well. Off to the Total Gym.

Optimism for the day?
Realize there is always a reason things dont go as hoped/expected- and be excited that what IS supposed to happen is on its way!

Vincent & Natalie - Happy Ending

Skinny Bitch?

I purchased this book via amazon for $1.47.
It is supposed to be funny. And informative.
Due to arrive in 2-4 business days.
I have also decided to put the "total gym" up in the basement and actually use it.
We will see.
Thats the plan.
So that is what is going to happen.

Optimism for the day:
When people tell you you're wasting your money on things you'll never use, dont be discouraged, decide to prove them wrong and get your moneys worth by actually using it. Then you can bask not only in a useful purchase- but also being able to say "I told you so".

Introduction.

This blog will contain small lessons on how to apply optimism to your everyday life.
But more importantly it is going to help me keep an open, positive mind about my new adventure to skinieness.

A more appropriate title for this blog would be,
Health Nutty:
A fat girls journey to become un-obsessed with processed food and laziness.

But that was taken.
